Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging technologies, market trends, and global shifts to identify opportunities and threats through 2026 and beyond
- Develop strategic foresight frameworks and innovation roadmaps aligned with long-term organizational goals
- Lead cross-functional workshops to cultivate future-oriented thinking across engineering, marketing, and R&D teams
- Partner with product teams to integrate future-focused insights into development roadmaps and user experience design
- Conduct horizon scanning and scenario planning to prepare the organization for disruptive transformations
- Represent the company at industry forums and publish thought leadership on future trends
- Monitor competitive landscapes and geopolitical factors to inform strategic positioning
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futuristics, Strategic Foresight, Innovation Management, or related field; PhD preferred
- 8+ years of experience in innovation strategy, strategic planning, or futurist roles
- Proven track record of translating future insights into commercial success
- Expertise in emerging technologies: AI, quantum computing, biotech, and sustainable systems
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to synthesize complex information
- Strong presentation skills with executive-level communication abilities
- Experience with foresight methodologies: horizon scanning, scenario planning, and trend analysis
