Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning initiatives to identify disruptive technologies and societal shifts affecting 2026 markets
- Develop multi-year innovation roadmaps aligned with organizational vision and emerging opportunities
- Facilitate executive workshops on future scenarios and strategic implications
- Analyze emerging tech ecosystems (AI, quantum computing, biotech) for competitive positioning
- Build predictive models for industry transformation and market adoption curves
- Partner with R&D teams to prototype future-focused solutions
- Author thought leadership publications on future trends and strategic foresight
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Technology Forecasting, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or technology research
- Expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and weak signal detection
- Proven track record of translating future insights into commercial strategies
- Deep knowledge of emerging technologies (AI, blockchain, neurotech, etc.)
- Exceptional storytelling abilities to communicate complex futures to diverse audiences
- Certification in foresight methodologies (e.g., from Association of Professional Futurists)
