Responsibilities
- Lead horizon-scanning initiatives to identify and analyze emerging technologies, market shifts, and societal trends through 2030
- Develop data-driven future scenarios and strategic roadmaps for C-suite decision-making
- Partner with R&D teams to integrate foresight insights into product development lifecycles
- Build and maintain a global network of futurists, technologists, and industry disruptors
- Deliver executive briefings and thought leadership content on future implications
- Architect innovation frameworks for market positioning and competitive advantage
- Oversee cross-functional projects translating foresight into operational strategy
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Technology Strategy, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 10+ years experience in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of translating future trends into market-ready strategies
- Expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and technology assessment
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to influence executive stakeholders
- Published thought leadership in futurism or innovation strategy (required)
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum, biotech)
- Global network within innovation ecosystems and academic institutions
