Responsibilities
- Analyze global megatrends, technological disruptions, and socio-economic shifts to map 2026+ strategic scenarios
- Design and lead cross-functional innovation sprints prototyping future-facing products and services
- Develop quantitative foresight models using AI-driven analytics and scenario planning frameworks
- Present strategic roadmaps to executive stakeholders with compelling visual narratives
- Partner with R&D teams to incubate emerging technologies (quantum computing, bio-integration, etc.)
- Author thought leadership publications positioning Horizon as the 2026 innovation benchmark
- Manage a $5M innovation budget allocating resources to high-impact future-focused initiatives
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Innovation, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic foresight, innovation management, or technology consulting
- Proven expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and horizon scanning methodologies
- Proficiency in AI-powered foresight tools (e.g., Palisade @Risk, Trendalyzer)
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies (blockchain, AGI, synthetic biology)
- Published thought leadership in futurist journals or industry whitepapers
- Experience scaling innovation initiatives from concept to market leadership
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., from University of Houston)
