Responsibilities
- Conduct horizon-scanning research to identify disruptive technologies and societal shifts impacting 2026+ landscapes
- Develop data-driven innovation roadmaps with 3-5 year strategic vision for AI, biotech, and quantum computing integration
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align stakeholders on future scenarios and strategic pivots
- Design and implement prototyping labs for emerging technologies (e.g., metaverse, neural interfaces)
- Author thought leadership publications and keynote presentations at global innovation forums
- Manage $2M+ innovation portfolio with ROI-driven resource allocation
- Mentor internal 'Future Scouts' program to cultivate next-generation innovators
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Innovation Management, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 7+ years in strategic foresight, corporate innovation, or technology consulting
- Proven track record developing future scenarios for Fortune 500 companies
- Deep expertise in exponential technologies (AI, blockchain, synthetic biology)
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., from University of Houston or WFS)
- Published author in innovation or futurism journals
- Experience leading global teams across 3+ continents
- Portfolio demonstrating 5+ implemented future-proof strategies
