You'll lead scenario-planning workshops, develop quantitative trend forecasts, and translate complex data into compelling strategic narratives that drive billion-dollar decisions.
Responsibilities
- Analyze global megatrends (AI, climate tech, biotech) to identify disruptive opportunities for 2026+
- Design and facilitate strategic foresight workshops for executive stakeholders
- Develop quantitative trend forecasting models using proprietary Horizon analytics
- Author thought leadership reports published in MIT Tech Review and similar platforms
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype future-state solutions
- Advolve C-suite on emerging risks and competitive disruption vectors
- Maintain Horizon's proprietary foresight database with real-time trend intelligence
Qualifications
- 7+ years in strategy consulting, futurism, or innovation leadership
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or MBA with focus on disruption
- Proven track record of forecasting market shifts (provide case studies)
- Expertise in horizon scanning, scenario planning, and trend analysis methodologies
- Exceptional storytelling skills with executive presentation experience
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies (quantum computing, synthetic biology)
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., from foresight academy)
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ successful future-state implementations
