Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 2026-2030 innovation roadmaps across emerging tech verticals
- Lead cross-functional 'Horizon Scanning' initiatives identifying paradigm-shifting opportunities
- Architect patent portfolios for next-gen technologies (quantum AI, neural interfaces)
- Present strategic futures to C-suite and board members with data-driven scenarios
- Establish university partnerships for talent pipeline and R&D collaboration
- Author industry-shaping white papers and keynote presentations at global forums
- Manage $5M+ innovation budget for prototyping and experimental projects
Qualifications
- 15+ years in strategic innovation, R&D leadership, or futures research
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, or related technical field
- Published author in peer-reviewed journals on emerging technologies
- Track record of commercializing breakthrough innovations (min. 3 exits)
- Deep expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, synthetic biology, AGI ethics
- Fluency in scenario planning methodologies and trend analysis frameworks
- Experience advising Fortune 500 executives on technology disruption
- Global network of innovators and academic collaborators
