This role sits at the intersection of technology ethics, market evolution, and exponential growth strategies.
You'll collaborate with quantum computing researchers, neurotech pioneers, and AI ethics boards to develop 10-year roadmaps for our next-generation products. Your insights will directly influence $500M+ R&D portfolios and shape how humanity interacts with autonomous systems.
Responsibilities
- Analyze exponential technology trends (quantum computing, synthetic biology, AGI) and forecast market disruptions
- Develop innovation frameworks for ethical AI deployment and human augmentation technologies
- Lead cross-functional 'Future Labs' with engineers, designers, and futurists
- Translate complex foresight into actionable product roadmaps for C-suite executives
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and government innovation labs
- Create strategic scenarios for climate adaptation and resource optimization technologies
- Mentor next-generation futurists through our Horizon Academy program
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or emerging technology strategy
- Proven track record of translating future trends into commercial products
- Deep expertise in at least two exponential technology domains (quantum, biotech, AGI, etc.)
- Published thought leadership in futurism or technology ethics (Harvard/MIT/MIT Press preferred)
- Experience leading cross-continental innovation teams with 50+ members
- PhD or equivalent in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or relevant technical field
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ innovations launched from foresight frameworks
