- Analyze global megatrends (AI, quantum computing, biotech) to forecast industry disruptions through 2030
- Develop strategic innovation frameworks that align with 2026 business objectives
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate foresight into R&D priorities
- Produce high-impact trend reports and scenario-planning models for executive stakeholders
- Spearhead pilot programs for emerging technologies with 3-5 year adoption horizons
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and innovation labs
- Mentor innovation teams in future-proofing methodologies
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Innovation, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 7+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of translating trend analysis into commercial opportunities
- Expertise in scenario planning and horizon scanning methodologies
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies (AI, blockchain, synthetic biology)
- Exceptional storytelling skills to communicate complex futures to diverse audiences
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., from University of Houston or futureschool)
- Portfolio demonstrating successful innovation roadmap implementations
