Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis to identify disruptive technologies and societal shifts impacting 2026+ landscapes
- Develop and maintain strategic foresight frameworks (scenario planning, Delphi methods, etc.) for executive decision-making
- Architect innovation pipelines translating future scenarios into actionable R&D roadmaps and product concepts
- Facilitate cross-functional workshops with engineers, designers, and business leaders to prototype future-ready solutions
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions, government labs, and startup accelerators to co-create next-generation capabilities
- Present strategic insights to stakeholders through compelling narratives and data-driven visualizations
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Innovation Management, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 7+ years of experience in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership with proven impact
- Expertise in foresight methodologies (scenario planning, weak signal detection, backcasting)
- Deep understanding of emerging tech domains (quantum computing, AGI, synthetic biology, neuro interfaces)
- Exceptional storytelling abilities with executive presentation experience
- Portfolio demonstrating past futures work (published foresight reports, innovation frameworks, launched ventures)
- Comfortable operating in ambiguity with rapid prototyping and experimentation mindset
