Responsibilities
- Research and analyze emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) to forecast industry shifts by 2026
- Develop strategic roadmaps aligning technological trends with business objectives and market opportunities
- Lead cross-functional innovation workshops to generate and prioritize breakthrough concepts
- Present future scenarios to executive leadership and board members with data-driven recommendations
- Build and maintain relationships with academic institutions, startups, and industry thought leaders
- Mentor innovation teams in design thinking methodologies and agile development practices
- Monitor geopolitical and socioeconomic factors impacting technology adoption and regulatory landscapes
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Technology Management, Strategic Foresight, or related field; PhD preferred
- 7+ years in strategic planning, innovation management, or futurist roles at tech companies
- Proven track record of developing and implementing long-term technology roadmaps
- Expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and horizon scanning methodologies
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to articulate complex concepts to diverse audiences
- Experience with AI/ML, blockchain, or sustainable tech ecosystems
- Strong project management skills with PMP or similar certification
