Responsibilities
- Conduct horizon-scanning research on emerging technologies, societal shifts, and market disruptions through 2030
- Develop and maintain future scenario models and strategic roadmaps for 2026 product launches
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with engineering, design, and marketing teams
- Present future insights to executive leadership and board stakeholders through compelling data visualizations
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and industry thought leaders
- Design and implement organizational foresight frameworks
- Mentor junior innovation specialists in futures thinking methodologies
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Technology Forecasting, or related field
- 5+ years experience in innovation strategy, R&D leadership, or futurist consulting
- Proven track record of translating future trends into commercial opportunities
- Expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and horizon scanning methodologies
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech)
- Exceptional presentation skills with executive audiences
