Responsibilities
- Develop and implement the 2026+ strategic innovation framework using horizon scanning, trend analysis, and scenario planning
- Lead cross-functional teams in launching breakthrough initiatives across AI, biotech, and sustainable systems
- Partner with R&D to translate futuristic concepts into scalable commercial solutions
- Deliver executive briefings on emerging tech disruptions and competitive landscape shifts
- Establish global innovation ecosystems through strategic partnerships and academic alliances
- Drive cultural transformation to embed future-thinking across all organizational levels
- Quantify innovation ROI through advanced KPI modeling and impact assessment frameworks
Qualifications
- 15+ years in strategic innovation, futures research, or technology foresight with Fortune 500 experience
- Proven track record of launching at least three market-defining initiatives
- Deep expertise in exponential technologies (quantum computing, synthetic biology, AGI)
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field required
- Certification in strategic foresight (e.g., CFSD) or innovation management
- Exceptional storytelling skills to articulate complex future scenarios to diverse stakeholders
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed futurist journals or industry whitepapers
- Experience building and scaling innovation labs in dynamic global markets
