Responsibilities
- Lead horizon-scanning initiatives to identify and analyze emerging technologies, market shifts, and societal trends impacting 2026+ business landscapes
- Develop strategic frameworks for long-term innovation pipelines and market disruption scenarios
- Partner with R&D to translate foresight into actionable product roadmaps and investment priorities
- Deliver executive-level trend briefings and strategic recommendations to C-suite and board members
- Design and facilitate future-proofing workshops for cross-functional leadership teams
- Establish KPIs for measuring strategic foresight effectiveness and innovation adoption
- Author thought leadership publications on industry transformation and future-proofing strategies
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Technology Forecasting, Business Strategy, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or corporate strategy with proven impact on 5+ year planning horizons
- Expertise in emerging technologies: AI/ML, quantum computing, biotech, decentralized systems, and climate tech
- Exceptional scenario planning and trend analysis capabilities with data-driven storytelling skills
- Experience advising C-suite executives on strategic transformation and market disruption
- Published thought leadership in futures studies or business innovation (portfolio required)
- Proficiency in foresight methodologies: Delphi, horizon scanning, causal layered analysis, and systems thinking
