Responsibilities
- Forecast technological and societal shifts impacting global markets through 2026
- Develop scenario-planning frameworks for quantum computing adoption
- Lead executive workshops on emerging biotech regulations
- Produce trend reports influencing $2B R&D budget allocation
- Partner with product teams to embed future-proofing into roadmaps
- Present findings to C-suite and board of directors
- Mentor junior futurists in horizon-scanning methodologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, consulting, or R&D leadership
- Published research on exponential technologies (quantum/AI/biotech)
- Experience with scenario planning and trend analysis frameworks
- Track record influencing C-suite decisions through data-driven insights
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or related field
- Proficiency in foresight tools (e.g., Delphi, Horizon Scanning)
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ trend-to-strategy implementations
