Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive horizon-scanning framework to identify disruptive technologies and societal shifts through 2026
- Lead scenario-planning workshops to prepare the organization for multiple future states
- Produce forward-looking strategic briefings for executive decision-making
- Build and manage an external network of futurists, academics, and industry pioneers
- Translate foresight insights into product development roadmaps and investment priorities
- Champion innovation culture through internal thought leadership and mentorship
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futurology, Strategic Foresight, Innovation Management, or related field (PhD preferred)
- Minimum 7 years experience in strategic planning, trend analysis, or innovation consulting
- Proven track record of translating foresight into tangible business outcomes
- Exceptional skills in scenario planning and systems thinking
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging domains (AI ethics, quantum computing, biotech, etc.)
- Strong presentation skills with experience to executive audiences
- Published thought leadership in futurism or strategy publications
