Responsibilities
- Anticipate global megatrends (AI, biotech, climate, etc.) and synthesize insights into 3-5 year strategic roadmaps
- Develop proprietary foresight frameworks using scenario planning, horizon scanning, and predictive analytics
- Lead cross-functional 'Future Labs' with engineers, designers, and domain experts to prototype 2026-ready solutions
- Translate complex futures into executable product roadmaps and go-to-market strategies
- Present strategic vision to C-suite and external stakeholders through compelling narratives
- Establish industry thought leadership via whitepapers, keynotes, and media partnerships
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Systems Thinking, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years in strategy consulting, innovation labs, or R&D with proven trend-translation track record
- Expertise in foresight methodologies (e.g., Delphi, STEEP, backcasting)
- Portfolio demonstrating future-ready projects (e.g., climate tech, AGI governance, neurotech)
- Proficiency in futures modeling tools (e.g., Causal Layered Analysis, cross-impact matrices)
- Exceptional storytelling skills for complex concepts across technical and non-technical audiences
- Global perspective with fluency in emerging market dynamics and cultural shifts
