Responsibilities
- Analyze global megatrends (tech, climate, social) and their impact on industry evolution through 2026
- Develop scenario-planning frameworks to model alternative futures and risk mitigation strategies
- Lead cross-functional workshops to embed foresight into product development and corporate strategy
- Produce annual Future Horizon Reports with data-driven predictions and actionable recommendations
- Build and maintain an ecosystem of futurist networks, academic partners, and industry thought leaders
- Advise executive leadership on emerging technologies (AI, quantum, bioengineering) and adoption pathways
- Champion innovation culture by prototyping future-state business models and customer experiences
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Strategic Foresight, Futures Studies, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 7+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or trend analysis
- Proven track record of developing and implementing future-oriented business strategies
- Expertise in systems thinking, scenario planning methodologies, and horizon scanning
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to translate complex concepts for diverse audiences
- Published thought leadership in futurism or innovation (whitepapers, journals, conferences)
- Proficiency in foresight tools (e.g., Delphi method, causal layered analysis)
