Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain the 2026-2030 strategic foresight framework using horizon scanning and trend analysis
- Produce quarterly future-state scenarios for board-level decision-making
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align teams on emerging opportunities
- Establish KPIs for tracking technological adoption and societal impact
- Author thought leadership publications on future-proofing business models
- Partner with R&D to prioritize moonshot projects aligned with long-term vision
- Monitor geopolitical and socioeconomic shifts affecting innovation ecosystems
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategy consulting, R&D, or futures research with proven impact
- Expertise in exponential technologies (AI, quantum computing, synthetic biology)
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field
- Portfolio published scenario-planning work for Fortune 500 companies
- Proficiency in foresight methodologies (Delphi, STEEP, causal layered analysis)
- Exceptional storytelling abilities to translate complex concepts
- Experience leading high-stakes innovation initiatives from ideation to execution
- Certification in strategic foresight or futures research preferred
