Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning research to identify emerging technologies, market disruptions, and societal trends with 3-5 year impact
- Develop and maintain strategic foresight frameworks to quantify and prioritize future opportunities
- Collaborate with C-suite executives to integrate future scenarios into corporate strategy and roadmaps
- Design and facilitate innovation workshops that challenge conventional thinking and foster creative solutions
- Produce trend reports and predictive models to inform product development and market entry strategies
- Build and manage a network of futurists, technologists, and industry thought leaders
- Represent the company at global forums on future-focused topics including AI ethics, sustainable tech, and human augmentation
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Technology Forecasting, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or technology trend analysis
- Proven track record of developing and implementing future-oriented business strategies
- Expertise in scenario planning, systems thinking, and predictive modeling methodologies
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) and their societal implications
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to translate complex concepts for diverse stakeholders
- Published thought leadership in futurism or strategic innovation (articles, white papers, books)
- Proficiency in foresight tools and data visualization platforms (e.g., Tableau, Palisade @RISK)
