Responsibilities
- Develop 5-10 year strategic foresight frameworks using horizon scanning, trend analysis, and scenario planning
- Lead cross-functional workshops to identify emerging disruptions in AI, biotech, and quantum computing
- Produce executive-ready trend briefs with actionable recommendations for board-level stakeholders
- Architect innovation roadmaps aligning technological capabilities with market opportunities
- Establish early-warning systems for paradigm shifts in consumer behavior and regulatory landscapes
- Partner with product teams to integrate foresight findings into development lifecycles
- Present strategic visions at industry conferences and thought leadership forums
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or technology foresight
- Proven track record of predicting market shifts (include portfolio of successful forecasts)
- Expertise in scenario planning methodologies and trend analysis tools
- Deep understanding of emerging technologies: generative AI, synthetic biology, quantum computing
- Exceptional storytelling abilities to translate complex foresight into compelling narratives
- Experience advising Fortune 500 executives on long-term strategic positioning
- Published thought leader in futurism or innovation strategy (LinkedIn/Twitter presence required)
