Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive 2026 technology and societal trend forecasts using quantitative/qualitative research
- Architect strategic roadmaps for emerging domains: quantum computing, neural interfaces, climate tech
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align stakeholders on future-vision initiatives
- Produce actionable scenario-planning models for market disruption and competitive analysis
- Partner with product teams to integrate foresight into development lifecycles
- Present strategic recommendations to executive leadership and investor forums
- Maintain Horizon's thought leadership through whitepapers and conference keynotes
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futures research
- Proven track record of developing 5-10 year strategic frameworks
- Expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and horizon scanning
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, biotech, energy)
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex concepts
- Portfolio demonstrating published foresight work or strategic impact
- Experience with futures methodologies: Delphi, STEEP, or causal layered analysis
