Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain 2026 strategic foresight frameworks using scenario planning and horizon scanning methodologies
- Produce quarterly trend briefings on disruptive technologies (AI, biotech, climate tech) for executive decision-making
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate future scenarios into product roadmaps and innovation pipelines
- Establish strategic partnerships with research institutions and emerging tech startups
- Author thought leadership content positioning InnovateHorizon as a 2026 industry pioneer
- Analyze geopolitical and socioeconomic factors impacting long-term technology adoption
- Mentor junior strategists in future-focused research methodologies
Qualifications
- Minimum 8 years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or advanced R&D leadership
- Proven expertise in horizon scanning and scenario planning with published frameworks
- Deep knowledge of emerging technologies (quantum computing, synthetic biology, climate tech)
- Exceptional data storytelling skills with proficiency in visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI)
- Track record of translating future insights into commercial products or services
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field
- Experience presenting to C-suite and board-level stakeholders
- Certification in strategic foresight (e.g., CFCS, APF) preferred
