Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning to identify emerging technologies and societal trends impacting 2026+ business landscapes
- Develop and maintain multi-year strategic roadmaps with quantifiable milestones
- Create scenario-planning models for market disruption and competitive response strategies
- Present foresight insights to executive teams and board members through compelling narratives
- Collaborate with R&D to translate future trends into innovation pipelines
- Establish KPIs for tracking future-readiness and strategic adaptation capabilities
- Author thought leadership pieces positioning HorizonShift as a future-focused industry leader
Qualifications
- Minimum 8 years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or future-focused tech leadership
- Proven track record of translating futuristic concepts into executable business strategies
- Expertise in AI, quantum computing, or biotech convergence trends
- Certification in Futures Studies or Strategic Foresight (preferred)
- Exceptional data storytelling and visualization skills using modern analytics platforms
- Experience advising C-suite on long-term strategic pivots
- Published thought leadership in future-of-work or technology evolution
- Master's degree in Business, Technology, or Futures Studies
