Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain a 2026 strategic foresight framework using horizon scanning, scenario planning, and trend analysis
- Produce quarterly 'Future State' reports identifying disruptive opportunities and systemic risks
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate foresight into actionable product roadmaps
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions (MIT Media Lab, Stanford HAI) and futurist networks
- Present strategic vision to executive leadership and investor committees
- Design innovation incubation programs for emerging technologies with 3-year market impact
- Maintain proprietary '2026 Signals' database tracking 200+ emerging indicators
Qualifications
- 8+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or future-focused technology roles
- Proven track record of translating long-term trends into commercial opportunities
- Deep expertise in exponential technologies (AI, biotech, quantum, decentralized systems)
- Experience facilitating C-level strategy sessions with Fortune 500 companies
- Published thought leadership in futurism or technology forecasting
- Masters or PhD in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or relevant technical field
- Proficiency in foresight methodologies (Delphi, STEEP analysis, causal layered analysis)
- Exceptional storytelling skills with data visualization expertise
