Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain a 2026 technology foresight framework using trend analysis, scenario planning, and predictive modeling
- Produce quarterly strategic briefings for executive leadership on emerging threats/opportunities
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype future-facing solutions
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions and R&D labs
- Design and implement horizon scanning methodologies for early trend detection
- Create executive-level presentations translating future scenarios into actionable strategies
- Mentor junior strategists in futures thinking methodologies
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or technology forecasting
- Expertise in horizon scanning, scenario planning, and trend analysis frameworks
- Deep knowledge of emerging technologies (AI, quantum, biotech, Web3)
- Proven ability to translate complex futures into executable business strategies
- Exceptional presentation skills with executive-level communication experience
- Published thought leadership in futures or innovation publications
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ successful future-strategy implementations
