Lead cross-disciplinary teams to develop actionable frameworks for emerging technologies while maintaining our commitment to sustainable innovation. This role demands a blend of strategic foresight, systems thinking, and stakeholder influence in our dynamic Silicon Valley ecosystem.
Responsibilities
- Develop and operationalize the 2026 Innovation Roadmap through horizon scanning and trend analysis
- Lead scenario-planning workshops for disruptive technologies (quantum computing, bio-integration, etc.)
- Collaborate with C-suite to align strategic initiatives with emerging regulatory landscapes
- Establish KPI frameworks for measuring impact of future-state technologies
- Pioneer ethical frameworks for human-AI symbiosis in commercial applications
- Present strategic insights to executive board and external partners quarterly
- Mentor junior futurists and build internal foresight capabilities
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategy consulting or corporate innovation leadership
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or related field
- Published thought leadership on technological singularity or climate adaptation
- Proven experience with Delphi method and technology impact assessment
- Expertise in regulatory frameworks for emerging technologies (FDA, FCC, EU AI Act)
- Portfolio demonstrating scenario planning for 5+ year horizons
- Certification in Futures Thinking or Strategic Foresight preferred
