Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the 2026 strategic foresight framework using predictive modeling and trend analysis
- Lead scenario planning workshops to prepare for disruptive technological and societal shifts
- Partner with R&D teams to identify emerging technologies with 3-5 year commercial viability
- Present strategic recommendations to executive leadership and board members
- Build and maintain a global network of futurists, academics, and industry pioneers
- Author quarterly trend briefings and annual future-state reports
- Mentor junior strategists in foresight methodologies and critical thinking
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or corporate foresight
- Proven track record of developing and implementing long-term strategic frameworks
- Expertise in horizon scanning, trend analysis, and scenario planning methodologies
- Deep understanding of emerging technologies (AI, biotech, quantum computing, etc.)
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to translate complex concepts for diverse audiences
- Published thought leadership in futures or strategy publications
- Experience leading cross-functional teams through transformational change
