Responsibilities
- Develop and execute technology foresight frameworks for 2026+ market landscape
- Lead cross-functional strategy sessions with engineering, product, and research teams
- Produce actionable trend reports on quantum computing, biotech convergence, and AI ethics
- Partner with VCs to identify disruptive startups for acquisition/partnerships
- Design immersive scenario-planning workshops for executive leadership
- Represent company at global tech conferences (Davos, CES, Web Summit)
- Mentor junior futurists and establish internal innovation incubation programs
- Author white papers on future-shaping technologies for industry publications
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Technology Forecasting, Systems Thinking, or equivalent experience
- 5+ years in strategic foresight, R&D leadership, or emerging tech consulting
- Proven track record predicting tech adoption curves (e.g., blockchain, AR/VR)
- Deep expertise in at least two future-tech domains: quantum, neuromorphic, or synthetic biology
- Exceptional data storytelling skills with proficiency in foresight tools (Delphi, Horizon Scanning)
- Experience working with Fortune 500 CTOs and innovation boards
- Published author or speaker at top-tier tech conferences (TED, SXSW)
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ successful future-tech implementations
