You will collaborate with C-suite executives, research labs, and global innovation partners to anticipate technological disruptions. Your insights will directly influence product development, investment decisions, and market positioning in rapidly evolving sectors like AI, quantum computing, and biotechnology.
Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging technologies and market trends to develop 3-5 year strategic foresight frameworks
- Design technology adoption roadmaps aligning with business objectives and industry disruptions
- Lead cross-functional workshops to synthesize complex data into actionable innovation strategies
- Present future scenarios to executive stakeholders and board members with clear implementation pathways
- Build and maintain relationships with global tech pioneers, academic institutions, and venture capital networks
- Quantify ROI projections for emerging technologies and prioritize investment portfolios
- Author thought leadership publications on technology futures and strategic innovation
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Technology Strategy, Innovation Management, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in technology strategy, corporate innovation, or futurist consulting
- Proven expertise in forecasting methodologies like Delphi analysis or scenario planning
- Deep technical knowledge across AI, quantum computing, and emerging tech domains
- Executive presence with experience presenting to C-suite and boards
- Published thought leadership in tech futurism or innovation strategy
- Strong network within Silicon Valley's innovation ecosystem
- Certification in Strategic Foresight or Technology Assessment (e.g., CFSD, CTA)
