Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging tech trends (quantum computing, AI ethics, biotech convergence) and assess commercial viability
- Develop 5-year strategic frameworks for technology adoption across enterprise operations
- Lead cross-functional workshops to synthesize insights from futurists, engineers, and designers
- Produce trend reports and scenario-planning documents for executive decision-making
- Partner with product teams to prototype next-generation user experiences
- Represent the company at global tech summits and thought leadership forums
- Mentor junior strategists in futures-thinking methodologies
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Technology Strategy, or related field
- 8+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or tech R&D
- Deep expertise in emerging technologies (blockchain, AR/VR, neuromorphic computing)
- Proven track record of translating foresight into market-ready solutions
- Exceptional storytelling skills for complex technical concepts
- Published thought leadership in tech futurism (white papers, patents, keynotes)
- Experience with scenario planning tools (e.g., STEEP analysis, Delphi method)
- Portfolio demonstrating future-focused projects with measurable impact
