Responsibilities
- Develop and execute multi-year technology roadmaps aligned with 2026 market predictions and organizational goals
- Lead horizon scanning initiatives to identify emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) with disruptive potential
- Partner with product teams to integrate future-proof technologies into scalable solutions
- Present strategic insights to executive stakeholders and board members through compelling narratives
- Establish innovation frameworks for ethical technology adoption and responsible AI governance
- Manage a portfolio of experimental projects with $2M+ annual R&D budget
- Represent the company at global tech summits and thought leadership forums
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, innovation management, or futurist consulting
- Proven track record of translating exponential tech trends into commercial opportunities
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains: AI/ML, blockchain, IoT, or synthetic biology
- Certification in Futures Studies or Technology Foresight (e.g., CFCS, CFTe) preferred
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to model complex socio-technical systems
- Experience leading cross-functional teams across global organizations
- Published thought leadership in tech innovation (white papers, patents, or keynotes)
- MBA or advanced degree in Technology Management, Engineering, or related field
