Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging tech trends (quantum computing, neural interfaces, climate tech) to identify disruptive opportunities through 2026
- Develop strategic roadmaps for product innovation aligned with 5-year future scenarios
- Lead scenario-planning workshops with executive teams to prepare for market volatility
- Author forward-looking whitepapers and thought leadership for industry conferences
- Partner with R&D to prototype solutions addressing future human needs
- Monitor geopolitical/regulatory shifts affecting tech adoption timelines
- Mentor junior futurists and build an internal foresight framework
Qualifications
- 8+ years in technology strategy, innovation consulting, or futurist research
- Proven track record of translating future trends into commercial products
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (AI, biotech, AR/VR, etc.)
- Certification in Futures Studies or Strategic Foresight preferred
- Exceptional data storytelling with visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI)
- Published thought leadership in tech futurism or innovation journals
- Experience advising Fortune 500 companies on tech disruption
- PhD or Master's in Futures Studies, Technology Management, or related field
