Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive technology foresight framework for 2026 market landscape
- Conduct scenario planning for disruptive technologies (quantum, biotech, neural interfaces)
- Lead innovation workshops to identify breakthrough opportunities
- Produce strategic white papers on future technology adoption curves
- Advise product teams on integrating emerging technologies into roadmaps
- Represent company at global technology summits and future-focused conferences
- Mentor junior strategists in futures thinking methodologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of predicting and capitalizing on emerging tech trends
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging domains (quantum computing, AI governance, AR/VR)
- Executive presence with ability to articulate complex futures to diverse audiences
- Advanced degree in Technology Management, Systems Engineering, or Futurology
- Published thought leadership in technology foresight (IEEE, Harvard Business Review)
- Certification in Futures Studies or Strategic Foresight (preferred)
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ successful technology transformation initiatives
