Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging tech trends (AI, quantum computing, biotech) to develop 5-year strategic roadmaps
- Lead scenario-planning workshops for board-level executives on disruptive technologies
- Establish KPI frameworks for innovation portfolio performance tracking
- Represent company at global tech summits and policy roundtables
- Build and lead a specialized futurist research team
- Partner with product teams to integrate foresight into development cycles
- Author quarterly industry trend reports for investor communications
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy or innovation leadership at Fortune 500 companies
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Technology Management, or equivalent
- Proven track record predicting market shifts (evidence via published forecasts)
- Expertise in emerging tech domains: generative AI, Web3, spatial computing
- Certified Futurist (CF) or similar credential preferred
- Experience with strategic foresight methodologies (Horizon Scanning, Delphi)
- Exceptional storytelling skills for complex technical concepts
- Portfolio of successful innovation initiatives with measurable impact
