Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging tech trends (AI, quantum, biotech) and their commercial implications for 2026
- Develop strategic roadmaps integrating next-generation technologies with business objectives
- Lead cross-functional workshops to forecast industry disruptions and identify opportunities
- Partner with R&D teams to prototype future-facing solutions and validate market readiness
- Author thought leadership reports for executive stakeholders and industry publications
- Advose on regulatory frameworks and ethical considerations for emerging technologies
- Build and maintain a global network of innovators, academics, and industry pioneers
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Technology, Futurology, Business Strategy, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or tech R&D leadership
- Deep expertise in exponential technologies (AI/ML, quantum computing, synthetic biology)
- Proven track record of translating future trends into actionable business strategies
- Exceptional analytical and scenario-planning capabilities with data-driven decision making
- Strong presentation skills with experience addressing executive audiences
- Published thought leadership in technology or future studies domains
- Experience with horizon scanning methodologies and trend analysis frameworks
