Responsibilities
- Lead comprehensive horizon scanning to identify emerging technologies with disruptive potential for 2026-2030
- Develop and execute technology adoption roadmaps aligned with business objectives and market trends
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions, research labs, and industry pioneers
- Quantify future technology ROI through advanced modeling and scenario analysis
- Drive cross-functional innovation initiatives spanning AI, quantum computing, and biotechnology
- Present strategic recommendations to C-suite executives and board members
- Mentor a team of futurist analysts and technology scouts
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 10+ years in technology strategy, R&D leadership, or innovation management
- Proven track record of successfully forecasting and implementing future-ready technologies
- Deep expertise in emerging tech domains (AI, blockchain, quantum, AR/VR)
- Exceptional analytical capabilities with data-driven decision-making
- Experience with scenario planning and futures methodologies
- Strong executive communication and stakeholder management skills
