The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of emerging trends, a passion for the future, and the ability to translate complex technological concepts into actionable strategies. You will work closely with executive leadership, product teams, and research partners to identify opportunities and risks in the rapidly evolving tech landscape.
Responsibilities
- Analyze and forecast emerging technology trends, including AI, quantum computing, biotechnology, and space technology, with a focus on their potential impact by 2026.
- Develop and communicate compelling future scenarios to guide strategic planning and decision-making.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate future insights into product development and business strategy.
- Build and maintain relationships with leading research institutions, startups, and industry thought leaders.
- Present findings and recommendations to executive leadership and the board of directors.
- Lead the creation of annual technology outlook reports and thought leadership content.
Qualifications
- Master's degree in a relevant field (Technology, Engineering, Business, or Social Sciences) or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in technology strategy, innovation management, or a related field.
- Proven track record of forecasting and analyzing emerging trends and their business implications.
- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas to diverse audiences.
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities, with a passion for the future.
- Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Deep knowledge of at least one emerging technology area (AI, quantum computing, etc.) and a broad understanding of others.
