Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the 2026 technology strategy roadmap aligned with business objectives
- Analyze emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) and assess market readiness
- Lead horizon scanning initiatives to identify disruptive trends and opportunities
- Collaborate with C-suite executives to integrate futuristic insights into corporate strategy
- Represent company at industry conferences and publish thought leadership content
- Manage partnerships with academic institutions and innovation labs
- Present strategic recommendations to board members and investors
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, innovation management, or futurist consulting
- Proven track record of anticipating and capitalizing on emerging tech trends
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging technology domains (AI/ML, quantum, AR/VR, etc.)
- Exceptional analytical and scenario-planning capabilities
- Strong presentation skills with executive-level communication experience
- Published thought leadership in technology futurism (whitepapers, books, keynotes)
