Responsibilities
- Develop and implement 3-5 year strategic technology roadmaps aligned with market evolution and business growth objectives
- Analyze emerging technologies (quantum, AI, AR/VR, synthetic biology) for competitive advantage and integration potential
- Lead scenario-planning workshops to identify future market disruptions and organizational resilience strategies
- Partner with R&D to prototype and validate futuristic concepts through pilot programs
- Present strategic insights to stakeholders through compelling visualizations and data-driven narratives
- Establish KPI frameworks to measure innovation ROI and future-readiness maturity
- Mentor teams in strategic foresight methodologies and future-focused mindsets
Qualifications
- Minimum 8 years in strategic technology planning, innovation management, or futurist consulting
- Proven track record of translating emerging tech trends into enterprise value
- Deep expertise in at least two future-critical domains (quantum computing, AGI, neurotech, etc.)
- Certification in strategic foresight, scenario planning, or equivalent formal training
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to synthesize complex data into actionable insights
- Experience leading cross-functional teams through ambiguous technological transitions
- Strong presentation skills with executive-level communication mastery
- Published thought leadership or patents in future-tech domains preferred
