Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a 2026 technology strategy roadmap aligned with business objectives and market trends
- Identify, evaluate, and prioritize emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech, etc.) for commercial deployment
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype and validate futuristic solutions
- Conduct horizon-scanning research and publish thought leadership on technological disruption
- Build strategic partnerships with academic institutions, startups, and industry leaders
- Advose executive leadership on tech investments, risks, and regulatory implications
- Mentor R&D teams in translating futuristic concepts into tangible products
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, innovation management, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of commercializing emerging technologies
- Expertise in at least two of: AI/ML, quantum computing, advanced robotics, or synthetic biology
- Strong analytical skills with ability to model complex technological systems
- Exceptional communication skills for translating technical concepts to stakeholders
- PhD or Master's in relevant field (Computer Science, Engineering, Futures Studies)
- Certification in technology foresight or innovation management preferred
- Published work in tech journals or industry whitepapers
