Responsibilities
- Forecast technological trajectories and market disruptions through quantitative analysis and qualitative research
- Develop strategic roadmaps for clients adopting 2026-era innovations (quantum computing, synthetic biology, AGI integration)
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align organizational capabilities with future technology paradigms
- Author thought leadership publications and present at global industry summits
- Manage a portfolio of 5-7 enterprise clients as their dedicated futurist advisor
- Identify and evaluate emerging startups and technologies for strategic partnerships
- Maintain the Innovation Radar dashboard tracking 200+ emerging technologies
Qualifications
- 8+ years in strategic technology consulting or corporate innovation roles
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or related field
- Proven track record of developing and implementing 5+ year technology roadmaps
- Expertise in scenario planning and horizon scanning methodologies
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, biotech, quantum, nanotech)
- Executive-level presentation skills with experience to C-suite audiences
- Certification in Foresight Methodology (preferred) or equivalent practical experience
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ successful technology foresight projects
