In this role, you will serve as the internal futurist, translating complex macro-trends into actionable business strategies. You will work closely with the C-Suite to ensure Horizon Industries remains a market leader in innovation, sustainability, and technology.

Responsibilities
- Define the 2026 Vision: Lead the end-to-end development of the corporate roadmap, specifically focusing on milestones, KPIs, and strategic pivots leading into the year 2026.
- Trend Analysis & Forecasting: Monitor global economic, technological, and social shifts to identify emerging opportunities and threats before they materialize.
- Innovation Lab Management: Oversee the internal R&D and incubator programs, allocating resources to high-potential future technologies such as AI, Quantum Computing, and Synthetic Biology.
- Scenario Planning: Develop and stress-test multiple future scenarios to build organizational resilience against uncertainty.
- Executive Communication: Present complex strategic concepts to the Board of Directors and executive leadership team in a compelling, data-driven narrative.
- Stakeholder Alignment: Collaborate with product, marketing, and operations teams to align day-to-day execution with long-term 2026 goals.
Qualifications
- Experience: 10+ years of experience in strategic planning, futurism, or technology consulting, with at least 3 years in a senior leadership capacity.
- Education: Master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA), Technology Management, or a related field is preferred.
- Strategic Mindset: Proven track record of successfully guiding organizations through major transitions and market disruptions.
- Analytical Skills: Exceptional ability to synthesize data from diverse sources to build robust predictive models.
- Leadership: Demonstrated experience leading cross-functional teams and mentoring high-potential talent.
- Communication: Exceptional public speaking and executive presence skills.
