Responsibilities
- Assist senior electricians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems in residential and commercial buildings.
- Learn to read and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
- Perform routine inspections of electrical panels and circuits to ensure safety compliance.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace in accordance with OSHA standards.
- Test electrical systems and equipment to ensure proper functionality and troubleshoot minor issues.
- Prepare and organize materials and tools for daily job sites.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED is preferred but not mandatory.
- Willingness to obtain a Journeyman Electrician license or Apprenticeship certification upon employment.
- Basic knowledge of mathematics (for measurements and calculations).
- Ability to work in various weather conditions and navigate construction sites.
- Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening.
