Responsibilities
- Assist Journeymen: Support experienced plumbing professionals with daily installations, repairs, and maintenance projects.
- Site Preparation: Prepare job sites by unloading materials, setting up scaffolding, and ensuring a clean working environment.
- Tool Management: Maintain, clean, and organize plumbing tools and equipment.
- Code Compliance: Learn and apply local plumbing codes, safety regulations, and building standards under supervision.
- Basic Repairs: Perform basic tasks such as pipe cutting, threading, and fitting as directed by supervisors.
- Customer Interaction: Maintain a professional demeanor when interacting with homeowners and clients.
Qualifications
- No Experience Required: This is an entry-level position designed for those eager to learn the trade.
- Valid Driver's License: Preferred, as travel between job sites is often required.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and work in various weather conditions.
- High School Diploma: General education is required.
- Communication Skills: Strong ability to follow instructions and communicate effectively with the team.
