Responsibilities
- Assist Senior Technicians: Support experienced plumbers with installation, repair, and maintenance tasks on residential and commercial sites.
- Tool Management: Maintain and organize tools and equipment, ensuring all gear is clean and ready for use.
- Project Support: Help prepare job sites, including digging trenches, laying pipes, and connecting fixtures.
- Customer Interaction: Communicate professionally with homeowners to explain issues and provide updates on service progress.
- Compliance & Safety: Adhere strictly to all local plumbing codes and safety regulations to ensure a secure work environment.
- Inventory Control: Monitor and restock van supplies to ensure projects stay on schedule.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
- License: A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are required.
- Physical Demands: Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs), stand for long periods, and work in confined spaces or outdoor conditions.
- Math Skills: Basic understanding of measurements and fractions is a plus.
- Attitude: A strong willingness to learn, a positive work ethic, and the ability to work well within a team.
- Availability: Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and emergency on-call shifts as needed.
