Responsibilities
- Execute site preparation tasks including excavation, grading, and material handling
- Operate hand/power tools and construction equipment safely
- Assist carpenters, masons, and other trades with material staging
- Maintain clean, organized job sites and adhere to OSHA standards
- Read blueprints and follow supervisor instructions precisely
- Perform heavy lifting (up to 50 lbs) and physically demanding tasks
- Complete daily safety checklists and incident reports
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to pass pre-employment drug screen and background check
- Basic math skills for material calculations
- Physical stamina to work 8-10 hour shifts in outdoor conditions
- Willingness to work weekends/holidays as project demands
- Must be authorized to work in the United States
- OSHA 10-hour certification preferred (training provided)
