Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradesmen with various construction tasks, including framing, drywall, and tiling.
- Mix concrete, sand, and cement for foundations and structures.
- Operate heavy machinery and tools, such as forklifts, jackhammers, and saws, following all safety protocols.
- Read and interpret basic blueprints, plans, and diagrams to understand project requirements.
- Unload and organize construction materials at the job site efficiently.
- Perform site cleanup, including debris removal and waste disposal.
- Ensure the work area remains clean, organized, and safe at all times.
Qualifications
- Physically fit and able to perform manual labor for extended periods.
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation to the job site.
- Ability to work in various weather conditions, including extreme heat and cold.
- Basic math skills for accurate measurements and material estimates.
- Willingness to learn and follow safety guidelines strictly.
- Experience in construction or landscaping is a plus but not required.
