Responsibilities
- Prepare construction sites by clearing debris, setting up barriers, and organizing materials
- Assist carpenters and masons with material handling, mixing, and basic installation tasks
- Operate hand/power tools (saws, drills, levels) under supervision
- Load/unift vehicles and equipment safely using proper lifting techniques
- Follow OSHA safety protocols and maintain clean work areas
- Perform general site cleanup and waste disposal
- Document daily progress and report maintenance needs
Qualifications
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly and perform physically demanding tasks
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation (required for Ohio sites)
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screen
- Basic math skills for measurements and material calculations
- Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Strong attention to detail and safety compliance
- Team-oriented attitude with clear communication skills
