Responsibilities
- Perform physically demanding tasks including excavation, material handling, and site preparation
- Operate hand/power tools safely (jackhammers, saws, drills) under night shift conditions
- Assist skilled tradesmen with concrete pouring, framing, and finishing work
- Maintain strict adherence to OSHA safety protocols and site-specific procedures
- Conduct daily equipment checks and report maintenance needs
- Manage waste disposal and maintain organized, hazard-free work zones
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet project deadlines
Qualifications
- Minimum 6 months construction/labor experience or equivalent physical work background
- Valid OSHA 10-Hour Construction certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly and work in extreme weather conditions
- Reliable transportation and punctual attendance for night shifts (10 PM - 6 AM)
- Basic math skills for material measurement and inventory
- Strong work ethic with commitment to safety-first practices
- Ability to pass pre-employment physical and drug screening
